Widget Issues

My widget for my H5051 Hygrometer stopped updating after the first of three consecutive Govee App updates. Widget hasn’t updated
since April 26th at 1:32am pst. Otherwise Love the App.

Big fan

Worth it

I have used the app a lot and it is very useful and easy to connect with the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capability but if you don’t
have a Govee device, you should not get this app since you need a Govee device to use the app

Network

Network issue since last update. Getting Network Error please try again, etc. especially when trying to edit automations. Noticed
tonight when lights never came on. Was fine on prior version. So seems it cant connect automations.
Otherwise been fine prior for long time.

App needs more flexibility

We use the outlets instead of timers and are happy with that functionality. We have a double button that can only operate one
light. One button to turn on the light and one to turn off. Would definitely prefer to be able to toggle the light instead.

Working perfectly

Sensor reading

Unfortunately, once you leave your home, you will no longer receive sensor readings. Unless I’m missing something, this would be
great to add to the app.

Update: just found out I need the WiFi version, so it’s all good!

Saved big money on my fish tank

I use this for my wavemakers in my fish tank and it’s waaaaay cheaper than a controller that only turns them on and off. This
allows for daily on of schedules and timers! Love.

Lights are great. App is annoying me

Use the app for my tv led. However, hitting On and Off is quite the challenge, as you have to hit the buttons at least twice for
the function to work. Even though the app states Operation Successful it’s never successful until you see it turn on/off with
your own eyes 🙄

Cant change color

If you are going to buy a led lights strips from govee dont their app is very bad and it wont even let you change the color of
your LED lights which gets very annoying and drives you crazy.

Wifi connection

The WiFi connection with this app frustrates me. It works most of the time but sometimes like today the WiFi just won’t connect
no matter what I do my lights are stuck on a setting so dim I can’t see anything or change it and everything I do is not
connecting the WiFi back

Could really use all new app design

Really like the lights but the app needs a lot of attention… not very user friendly. Govee needs to look at how the Philips Hue
app works, very easy to use and clean.

Programming Timers

I found the basic function and color options in the app to be fine. However, doing anything advanced, such as setting on off
schedules is difficult, and I’ve still not figured out how to do it.

Functionality needs to be improved

Keeps telling me I have an older version of the app. When I go to look, there’s no updated version to be found. timer, issue is
a thing when you change the timer, then it changes the light on its own not pleased.

I’m using thermostat/humidity meters with this app to hatch eggs and the alerts that I set do not signal me when the levels dip.
But if I check the data uploads since the last time in about a minute.

Really needs RGB sliders

Overall the app is workable and does control LED strip lights, but the “color wheel” supplied to set colors is woefully
imprecise.

This app would benefit massively from RGB sliders for precision color control.

Accesses internet without permission

Sensors are great and can be calibrated. App uses the internet even when disabled, I do not know how it bypasses the iPhone
restrictions. BEWARE

Great hardware, weird app

I love the LED strip lights for my TV. I wish the app didn’t feel so clunky. What’s with introducing a Christmas theme with no
option to turn it off? The theme is so poorly done I can’t even find where my devices are anymore.
