Best parental control app of allBy far, the best parental controls app of all the major game consoles. we’ve used Nintendo and PS five as well, but they’re
not nearly as convenient.
The app is not stableEvery time I go to setup a child profile the app crashes.
NotificationsOn my iPhone. With the app. Need to be better
Apple ScreentimeThis app is so good that I wish Apple screentime worked like this. Instead it doesn’t even work anymore. Love this app. Easy and
perfect!
Broken no longerUPDATED - This appears to be fixed.
ORIGINAL - Doesn’t allow adding a child account. Crashes every time. Unusable as it doesn’t support the entire reason to have
the app in the first place. Probably has to do with the newest iOS update, but don’t they test their app in advance?
Great appLove being able to track my kiddos spending and screen time, the screen time limits are very helpful!
Microsoft Family AppThe Microsoft Family App is great it does need some tweaking, Especially when adding money into a child’s account.
I always get a error page after the transactions goes throw.
Excellent toolVery intuitive and easy to use, and very useful.
Almost 5 star experienceIf you are mistakenly logged into your account instead of your child’s and you apply a gift card, there is nothing that support
personnel will do to help you retrieve it.
Good but please make adjustments to screen timeI would like to have the ability to manage one screen time in addition to having individual screen time for multiple family
members
Good app but with a glitchSo, this app is amazing but here’s the thing. when I try to add a child on my family it says that the invitation didn’t sent,
which is obviously weird so that’s why I rate this app 4 stars but it’s still a good app anyway.
Needs some changesI can’t figure out how to give my kid time on fortnight because I already set it to something. I figured out how to give my
child money but I can’t take away money.
Improvement over older app butI mostly use the app for screen time settings, sim finding adding more time for family members doesn’t work on the console, I
have to update the allowed time to play then change it back the next day.
GreatI don’t have kids but I love this app it helps me manage my time and tells me how long I played last week.
Allow less money to walletsEverything is pretty great. Except that I have to add 10 bucks at a minimum to my kids account. Ideally the minimum would be 5
bucks. Thanks.
Fast and ConvenientI use this Xbox Family app to add time to my sons Xbox. If he doesn’t do his chores. He doesn’t get video game time. Thanks
xBox. I wish PlayStation made it this easy.
ControlI really like being able to control the amount of time regan plays. And that he has to ask to play games oboe his age limit.
Great app! Thanks XBOX.
FineMeh, it’s decent. Wish it had more capabilities. But it’s fine. Actually, it’s good.
Gaps in allowing timeThe app has been great as far as parental controls, however there have been multiple occasions where I tried to add screen time for
my child and it never updated to his account. I had to unlock more time from the Xbox itself.
Easy to UseEasy to Use and very straightforward settings controls.
Great AppIt definitely helps me manage all 3 of my daughters time on the Xbox
I wish i could create specific schedules per app pwish i could create specific schedules and times per app per day, also per website otherwise i will give 5 starts

Revise purchase optionsWe should be able to authorize purchases with out adding money to the child account. The amount of the item is never one of thes
money values to add ($10, $15, $25…etc)
Adding gamesIts impossible to add games that are above a restricted area. For example my child is rated in the 10 year old category but i
find it ok to play jurrassic park which is rated higher. Its not easy to just select this game and approve it for play outside of
the boundary.
Complete the features of the appPlease get all features working
Time limits and reliabilityGeneral functions are good. What’s missing is that you cannot assign time limits to certain games. It is also not reliable when
approving more time.
MehCould be better. Makes it hard to add a specific amount of money to a child’s account. So when they only need an extra dollar,
you can only add 10$ and you can’t take money back from the account.
It's GoodThey don't have ease of access to upload gift cards on the app. It's a real disservice.
Time allowedIf you add time, it starts immediately and not at the end of the existing time period allowed.

It is good but I need more features like pause/resIt is good but I need more features like pause/resume and adding hours for specific apps.
Both good and apple also provide parental controls but none of them is perfect.
