Kudos to the creator of this app. App alerted me well before shaking started. There were 2 earthquakes in 9 minutes and it alerted
both before shaking.

Inconsistent Alerts - But great when it works

For some reason it works on my phone well but doesn’t send alerts to my iPad. Important app - potentially life saving.

It works!

Yay! I woke up to an alert from MyShake felt it and I went on Nextdoor and saw that others felt an earthquake too. It was a 4.1 so
nothing major this time, but definitely appreciate the warning!!! Thank you!!!

Alert Received For Ojai EQ 8/20

8/20/23 was the first non-test alert I ever received on this app for the earthquake in Ojai. The alarm activated and stated
“shaking expected” a few moments before I felt it. So it works! Which is a nice non-destructive way to see it work in real
time!

Great app

The app alerted for an earthquake and It was far so I didn’t even feel it! but this system is like japans early warning system!

It works

It works, but it isn’t fast enough to warn you if you are close to the epicenter. Yesterday the alert went off at the same time
the earthquake hit. I’m only about 50 miles from the epicenter.

Dark mode

I’ve only just added the app so don’t really know yet how it will be for me, but I can say that as a person who needs dark
mode for accessibility reasons, it would be great if it had that option in the settings. I’ve looked and don’t see it. Thank
you!

Make it for iWatch

Please make this app available for iWatch. Many people don’t have phone with them at all times, such as at gym. Watches are
often worn all the time, even in shower, etc.
would probably be very useful to make this available for the iWatch.

Quake ratings

You need to show “all” quakes!!!!! Just south of half moon bay we had a 2.8 plus and it did not even show!!!??? Please
adjust!!!

It Worked!

About four weeks ago, there was a significant earthquake in Santa Clara County. I was some ways away from the epicenter The
app’s core functionality worked perfectly: I received an alert well before the shaking propagated to my location. Kudos to the
Berkeley team.

Warned me a few seconds

On Oct 25 22, I got a voice alert then I felt a little rumble coming from the San Jose quake which is over 25 miles away. It works
and maybe the best warning we can get

Apple watch?

Is there any way to get the app developed for Apple Watch? The watch is more likely to grab my attention in those precious few
seconds before a quake. The app on phone did work in SJ quake a few days ago but phone was on charger in other room so didn’t
see the pop up until after the quake.

Turn off ad block to set up

For those having issues setting this app up and setting custom locations, turn off ad blockers, and VPNs as they cause issues with
this app.

Works great!

I downloaded the app in WASHINGTON STATE. And I got test alerts before the Great Washington ShakeOut. The tests work great! I wish
the tone was a bit louder but I am happy the tone is different than an Amber Alert. Absolutely amazing technology.

Government backed early warning system for earthqu

This system recently gave people an early warning to a 6.2 magnitude earthquake in Northern California. I’m thrilled that the
western states are taking this opportunity to save lives seriously!

Does it’s job to notify

September 17, 2021 the city of Carson was hit with a Mag. 4.3 and I got the alert with in 3 seconds, could have been more time to
spare but still close to the epicenter.

Needs magnitude slider for notifications

Let users choose a magnitude threshold for receiving a notification, with the default of whatever you think is best, but a slider
to change from the default. Then everyone can be happy receiving as many or few notifications as they like.
