Amazing for Intermediate Learners

My recommendation is to use Duolingo for the beginner lessons and once you get those down. Use this app Memrise to expand on your
learning with the "I'm a Beginner (knows some words)" setting. The native speakers really help in getting you to speak naturally.

Like the changes but miss the old review

I enjoy the MemBot and like the clean new interface.

But, please, please 🙏 give us a way to review our learned vocabulary lists and manually do reviews and flash reviews!

Immersive Videos

Love the immersive idea of this app and the gamified way it’s set up makes me want to come back. However, as you progress,
there’s less immersive videos to listen to and try to understand the conversation. Hope they add more! (Learning Mexico Spanish,

Comprehensive

This app has a LOT: speaking, listening with native speakers, videos with quizzes, actual listening exercises with videos by
native speakers, grammar, vocabulary, writing, reading. It’s been a while since I’ve been on Duo, but this has won it as far
as I’m concerned. Worth the money!

It’s the best

This far exceeds the other language apps and I feel like what I learn is sticking. It’s really the best.

The only complaint is a tiny format issue that causes incorrect answers to be recorded. It would be a small fix for the
developers.

Not bad but not good

I downloaded this and did a few lessons of Russian, it’s nice but it’s super fast paced throwing words at you way too fast. I
don’t have time to learn the words and phrases, and can forget easily because they just give you them and move on with no time
to remember
