Tips for Playing HyperRogue

Explore a strange world and gather treasure while avoiding monsters in HyperRogue. Your main goal is to collect the legendary Orbs of Yendor, but you can also collect smaller treasures if you prefer. The game takes place on the hyperbolic plane, with unique geometry that affects gameplay. Here are some tips to help you succeed:

1. Pay attention to the unusual grid of hexagons and heptagons, as it affects your movement.

2. Remember that straight lines can seem parallel but actually diverge and never cross.

3. Be prepared for triangles with angles that add up to less than 180 degrees.

4. Take note of how unlikely it is to reach the same place twice.

5. Keep in mind that the world may appear rotated when you return to a previous location.
