Update

This new update is horrible!! Everyday I have to log back in and it logs me out after a couple of hours.

Update: after this new update, it’s been working fine lately. I haven’t had to log back in once and it’s been a couple days.

Everything good but the face

Please please go back to black and yellow thumbnail for app. There are so many blue apps and we look for the “blackboard” so

Nice app until...

It was a nice app until the recent update that I cannot get no more alerts when my teacher posts a grade or someone post under my
feed. I wish the alerts come back so I know when the teacher posts a grade.

Why is it not working?

I gave five stars because before the update it was great, convenient, and way better to use. Now you have to log in via web, but
it doesn’t go back to the app. I tried to delete and start over, and now it can’t find my school. Annoying

Appears the bugs fixes were simply to remove some institutions. University Of Phoenix no longer futures on blackboard.

This app saved me lots of times when I don’t have my work laptop and have USW assignments or to check something

It doesn’t show comments the professor makes on assignments. I have to log onto a desktop to see them.

Suggestion for App

Connect phone or Google calendar so that user can sync course “due dates” to their personal calendars.

Blackboard Experience

Useful and handy, but I do have issue accessing zoom lectures whether live or recorded. Then accessing discussion takes multiple
trials before it works.

Messing up

It did work fine at first now it’s messing up it goes to a black page saying sign in when you’re trying to sign in it kicks
you off and then you sign out sign back in it does it again he signed back out it takes about four or five times to even get in

Good to use

The app overall I think is as good as a blackboard app can get. The part that annoys me every single time is that when I open
something that ends in .pdf the menu for sharing the document always drops down. Using on iPad.

App broken on 16.2

App loads but does not find the school (or any school) after iOS 16.2. Confirmed on multiple devices.

Huge problem

Does what it needs to do, but even when it notifies me of messages, I can’t actually view them, and have to switch to desktop or
use the browser on my phone to access the normal site. It would also be nice to be able to zoom in and out from PowerPoints since
that’s impossible too.

I would say it’s good, except the fact since the update and changes within the app, how in the world am I supposed look at due
dates??..I specifically remember blackboard having the options to look at due dates, but now it’s like they removed it☹️

It’s a good app but the fact that they claimed to fix the login situation and it’s still won’t let me login I. After I’ve
uninstalled it and tried to update it. It’s still getting on my nerves.

NEED CONFETTI LIKE CANVAS

Every time you submit something on canvas, there’s confetti. Blackboard needs to have that feature because that’s what us
college students live for… that little moment of happiness is everything.

Issues With Discussion Boards

Really efficient app!

My only issue: since an update a few months ago, I’ve been unable to see the content of most discussion posts, or the number of
views. Hoping a new update fixes this!

I get logged out every time I close the lab.

Update made it bad

I used to like the app , now with the update you don’t see where the teacher is pointing during class and that takes away a huge
advantage , also the inability to download the slides through blackboard is very unhelpful .

Not great, not terrible.

The app crashes very frequently and doesn’t always refresh with the most recent information. It’s actually very user-friendly
and it would be really helpful if not for the frustration of crashing all the time.
