Readability on an iPadI would give this App 5 Stars but for one thing. When adds appear on the sides it reduces the text size where it is unreadable
and cannot be expanded. For that reason 2 or 3 Stars
Not friendly to older eyesIt would be nice if the app would allow me to adjust text size. Us older folks would really appreciate it. Other news apps have
this ability.
ChangesYou did some changes on the website. I don’t it. I like the what was before. Otherwise it good app.
Was great now not so muchI have loved how much this all keeps me updated on all the news. However, after the last big update it constantly freezes when it
says I have a notification. Then shuts down and then I have to reopen app to see my notification.
Privacy ?I read the no privacy notification. It impressed me so much I said No Way ever. My brother doesn’t care so I struggle wanting
to read stories he sends but no way.
Gone DownhillI’ve enjoyed this app for years but around Dec. 2022 it became less enjoyable due to persistent obtrusive ads ( I’m looking at
you Google Chrome); that are very annoying. Still a worthwhile app for checking local news, if you can tolerate default ads.
Not what I wantedSettings won’t allow one to narrow down news and alerts to one’s own local area only; I don’t want national news, nor news
from other cities in the state.
Edit, Jan. 9, 2023: developers are looking into my concern, and I will see what happens. I’m grateful that they are looking into
it.
Fix your formatting problemsIt’s been long enough - I’ve been viewing poorly formatted articles for a while now. Skewed images, text running off screen,
images bleeding off screen, and with no way to pinch resize anything I just close the article and switch apps. Can’t believe you
haven’t noticed the problem yet.
