Now to the juicy stuff…

*How does the game work?*

Place your phone with the camera facing the surface you want to play the game on. Then the board will be placed and you’ll have the option to adapt it at your needs and tastes. Then with easy to learn and very interactive controls you’ll have to defeat the enemy team using strategy and skills. Become the master of the field!

*How does the multiplayer work?*

Players play with the same iOS device, so only with one phone both can enjoy the experience. In essence functions exactly the same to the single player. But this mode adds a time-counter and much more depth so don’t waste your time and guide your troops to victory!

*Tips*

Always find the most illuminated spot at the area where you’re playing to get the best tracking with your camera.

Turn your notifications off when playing the multiplayer to get a better experience without interruptions, they are quite anti-climatic.

And one last recommendation. The AR technology drains the battery very quick. If you don’t want to loose your progress or to be at 0% at the most compromised moment, get yourself a power bank!

*Personal developer notes*

This project arises from a problem that I have been seeing in today’s society, and that seems to be increasing as the years go by.

The current generations are connected all the time to some sort input, the biggest being the internet. Technology that has brought us very wonderful advancements and improvements to our daily lives, but at the same time, the more connected we are the more distant we become, especially young people, including myself.

With this game I want to contribute and help fight this problem by reconnecting people a classic and more accessible board game that everyone can play and enjoy! And can take everywhere with you!

I started as a prototype for a university final course project, but I enjoyed so much working on it that I decided to take it even further and after a long journey of more than a year full of both technical problems and tough personal situations that I had to overcome. Which made me worry if it was really worth it to keep working on it and hope some day it would see the light of day. But here we are, so it's time to find out!

*FAQS*

Is the game only available in English?

- Yes, but I don't discard translating it to other languages in the future.

Will the game be available on the iPad?

- Not for the moment, if I see feedback claiming for it, that could change.

Are there more updates on the go?

- Definitely yes. The big next update will introduce new troops like the Archer and the Horseman, new maps among other improvements to the over all experience!
