Verbal Fluency is a free-to-play casual word game app, developed by Thomas Coomer, available on iOS and Android since its release in December 2023. The updated version 1.1 is now available to download, compatible with iOS 15.0+ and Android 10+. Before downloading this app, let's quickly review what Verbal Fluency has to offer.

About Verbal Fluency

Verbal Fluency is a game to test your ability to think of words beginning with a certain letter in a limited amount of time.

How to Play:

Swipe across the alphabet to choose your letter or try the 'Random' button. Some letters are more difficult than others! Choose a target time and word length, then start the game.

After the 3 second countdown, quickly type words beginning with the chosen letter. All of the words must be the length that you chose on the previous screen.

Once you have typed a word, it will automatically be verified. If the word is real, it will appear in green and be added to your score. If not, it will appear in red and will not increase your score. If you enter the same word twice, it will flash in yellow and will not increase your score.

Once the game is over, you will be shown your score to see how you did. You can share this score with others to challenge them. Tap 'Play Again' to try to improve your score, change letter, and more.

Play across all of your Apple devices including iPhone, iPad and Mac, wherever you are, even when you are offline without WiFi.

What's new in version 1.1

Test your vocabulary by choosing to play the game in a different language!
Tap the game language selector in the bottom left corner to play the game in a different language.

Also in this update:
• Support for split view on iPad.
• Shake your iPhone or iPad to choose a random letter.
• Tap on a letter on your keyboard in game setup mode to quickly jump to that letter.
• Minor UI/UX improvements.
